Monthly Rx7 meet @ Izzys 02/08/10

Thats right every 2nd monday of the month we meet at izzys pizza/buffet in olympia,WA

come down to chit-chat about rx7's and have a good time. i hope to see some new faces!

WINTER is here, its getting dark earlyer and FREEZING! LOL it sucks. but it aint snowin yet so keep coming anyway!

WHEN: 7 PM FEB 8th ( monday)

DIRECTIONS: if your heading on I5 south take exit 107, you take a left off the exit then its a few blocks up on the left, in a albertsons or safeway, i cant remember parking lot( i go every month and space on this everytime lol)

so my car is dead and i don't know why
i sold it to my best friend and one morning when he was starting it it just died and now when you try to start it it turns over really slow and make a kind of clicking noise but wont sart at all ?

Make sure terminals are clean. The cables are tight on the terminals.

yeah sounds like corroded terminals to me, remove them clean them , soak em in baking soda , or use wire brush ect, then tighten them back down

Other symptoms? Flooded? Afm plugged in? We need mode details. Just it just crank. Or the starter just clicking ?

Check the ground to the starter. clicking sounds like a bad solenoid. Might need to have the starter checked.

Might try new battery cables too. Your current cables are 20 years old man. They're probably corroded as **** on the inside. Back when I had my FB, I replaced the battery cables and you wouldn't believe the difference it made in everything in the car. Brighter headlights, faster power windows, you name it.
