Ok, i am getting a wide body kit for my 81 rx7, but i am torn, the price of the black dragons is tempting me in this direction, as it seems i can get the door extensions from mariah and mad the same kit for 1k less(and i am also very good at renforcing glass so i am not worried about structure)...

But the mariah racing kit does appear to be slightly more appealing with the front air damn...

My questions are these:

Are the rear qtrs the same for each kit (GTO-1 from mariah, and the scca kit from black dragon).....

Do either of them allow me to loose the front bumper without heavy modification to the kit...

Who has got one of these kits before and what do you think of them? Do you have pictures????


Please help me with these questions i am spending alot of money here and i want to make sure i get the right one for me...!

 

I thought the kit from BD was only for SA (79-80.) They have a slightly different body style than the FB (81-85.)

 

Robert, can i mod the 79-80 kit to my 81? I am looking to loose the front bumper/rear bumper ect, can i do it if i create my own fiberlass filler pieces or are the lenght and width dissimilar?
