im pretty sure if you get it out of a non-t2 differential then it will bolt up.

The only na model with lsd in 1986 was the gxl, ( 5 lug, fully loaded, power everything model )

you would probably just want to swap the differential out

You could, you would have to find a company that makes diffs for the N/A ring/pinion. ATS makes one for $1350 LOL! Also, some axle/halfshaft swapping may have to take place. I'm sure a search would answer you questions fairly quickly. Just to throw a third idea in, why not buy a s4 clutch LSD and rebuild it? It would be cheaper considering most aftermarket LSDs (Cusco, ATS, Tomei) are in the $800-$1100 range, whereas a rebuild would place you somewhere in the $400-500 range (I think, it has been a while since I priced LSD rebuilds) + the price of the LSD, ($150). Check out www.mazdatrix.com they offer rebuild kits.

if i were you, I would get a n/a s4 LSD and give it a go. There is a chance it would still lock up decently. If not, rebuild it.
edit: why do you want LSD? Drag? Drift? AutoX?

you cannot get any differential out of a turbo rx7 unless you swap the axels and pumpkin. If you want lsd you can pull one from a 86-88 GXL RX7. It is a clutch type differential. Or you could use the lsd from s5 N/A rearends as well. For drifting clutch type is better. Go Here for some more info. http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/DRIFT/dori.html

you can swap the complete rearend, subfrme and all in a couple of hours,i've done it a few times.even if you just wanted to swap the diff, you still have to pull the subframe with it as one unit.

for a quick fix, just weld it up... i'm running a welded s5 gxl diff on my street car with a turbo engine/tranny setup.. as long as you aren't pushing a ton of power it'll hold up.. it's a bit ghetto, but a cheap solution... then you can start saving for a tII drivetrain, which you'll want to swap to eventually

subframe doesn't need to be dropped, just lowered slightly.
