I wouldn't really consider $1200 to rent a lambo a high amount, considering the fact that even a little fender bender would likely cost $20k+ to fix. I'm sure the high cost is factored in to make sure you can afford to fix it later.

you could do a track day at pacific raceways. I don't know if you just want to tool around town in one or actually race it at a track....

IMO renting one for driving around town is pointless...

Check these guys out though they have a 1 day racing school and allow you to rent the exige or elise.

The lapping days down at pacific are a blast. The lotus' they have there can outhandle my fd. Theyre quick little cars through the corners, they just dont have the power to pull on the straights.

Parkplace is always parking Lotuses around town with signs in the windows saying "rent me at Parkplace Motors." I'd say they're a pretty good bet. It'll be more than a Mustang from etnerprise, but the lotus sticker price isn't as absurd as a Lambo, so hopefully the rental rate wouldn't be either.

Make sure you are tiny! I instruct for the race club and BMW club, and have hade a chance to get in these cars at the race track and they are TINY! You wear them like a speedo, and if you aren't a medium to small guy they are actually hard to operate!

Know of sombody paying $5k a month for the lease on a lambo. $1200 a day, sounds about right.
