Its not all that hard. What series are you putting in. Do you have a complete engine harness along with a dash harness for the third port on the ecu. Do you have all the accessories. afm, boost pressure sensor, ecu, front cover from a SE, front motor mount from racing beat, SE gas tank and fuel lines, main fuse block for the strut tower.
SE oil pan and pickup,
The swap is pretty straight forward. I just put a S-5 turbo jspec engine into my 82 and holy **** its a little scary. There are a lot of parts you have to collect to swap into an FB, it took me about six months to source everything. Driving a turbo fb is totally worth all the hard work and then some.

ok... I'm a cheap-***, like most 1st gen owners, so I'm going to eliminate a bunch of this stuff.

SE front cover- you can use a 12a front cover and just drill a hole in the side for the oil return line... you'll have to do that anyway.

Front motor mount- 12a mount can be enlongated and mount can be bent a bit to make it work. (seen it done.)

SE gas tank? wtf? all you need is the fuel pump. I would replace the rubber lines with high pressure ones, though.

Well SE gas tank has a pickup tube that is 1/2 inch diameter and also has a baffle that surrounds the pick up inside the tank. So unless you like sucking air into your fuel line i would use a se tank. plus the return line is a 5/16 line which matches up with the return line on the fuel rail on the turbo engines, so that eleminates a bunch of adapters which are a source of leaks.. I used my modified front mount didn't like the way the engine was sitting, so I ordered a rb one. I used a SE front cover because I ran a MOP on it from a S-4 I dont believe you can do that with a 12 A cover. Also when i swaped over the se fuel lines onto my 82 they were noticeabley thicker than the 12a lines.

I not telling anyone how to do the swap, I did mine the "correct" without cutting any corners, Seriously what is another $300 dollars I follwed the chronicle of a T2 swap in the first gen section. For Christs sakes the guy is an engineer for NASA. Thats good enough for me. I dont want any problems done the road with leaking lines and aeration with my fuel especially under boost. If you can afford to do the swap, why not do it right. My SE cover was $50 bucks and the tank and lines were $75. the motor mount was $95. well less than $300 dollars. I will be at apple blossom if you want to check out my swap and I will be more that willing to answer your questions or take you for a ride. I have not total up all the cost yet, but it is right around $2000.00 About what atkins wanted to rebuilt my old engine.
Thanks

I'm sure that doing it your way is probably a better way to do it. As I said I'm a cheap as bastard. =) I'd definitely love to check out your car at ABF!!!

when i put my B motor in my 85gsl i decided to swap out the gas tank pump and hardlines from the tank to the firewall with the ones from my "totaled" -se

i figured if im gonna be sucking mad fuel to my weber i might as well have the -se tank and lines
