Man if it weren't 15 just to watch I would come. But IMO spectators should get in free

I hear ya... problem is, if the spectators get in free, drivers will be paying $150 or more... Again, the track owner is trying out something different and we're looking to see if we can't find some sort of balance.

Regards!

I would have come down if it were $5 to watch and support other 7 owners. I agree the track is in it for the money though. They need to make their dime as well, especially with the cost of insurance these days.

Anyway, hope that all have fun!!!

Well just got home from tearing it up at southsound speedway. I had a blast. drifting on the banks is a little scary at first but I got the hang of it. My only complaint was that is would have been nice to get more track time and the weather could have been better.

All in all I had a great time and I know my friends I can down with had fun too. I was the red TII fc and my friends were in the white bmw M3 and the burgundey and greay Mustang 5.0 GT

I don't know if anyone got any pics but I did see some cameras I would love to see some shots of the event.

looking foward to future events at that location.

Howard

Edgardo, you missed out on a fun time, The South Sound Speedway is a great drift venue, I just hope that the owners will be willing to have us back in a bigger way with more lead time and some good weather(my best pass's were in the rain, FB's like it wet to make up for the lack of power, 105whp) We got to see a $40,000 wild S15 stick it's nose in the wall, not the right car for a noob to be driving, he needed to start in a corolla or a FB first.

Cool FB Drift

Here's some pic's of the FB at the event, I came so close to the wall but didn't kiss it, I let Eric(a Corolla guy) drive my car and he came out loving the FB, actually thinking on getting a -SE. Guy's get out there and start learning to drift your FB,
Anybody that say's you can't drift a FB needs come and watch me in my GSL.105whp 12A
FC's are way heavy I hear, one of these days I'll drift a FC just to find out if I like it.

Yep, that was the ExtremeAutoSalon S15, got alittle nose on the wall, crushed a head light and got a oilcooler leak. They got if fixed up.

Wally, I can always get tires, just need a extra pair of wheels to fit your car and I will bring the rubber.....don't even tease me, after drifting a 5.0 mustang and a 2005 Subie WRX I have suddenly realized that I like power!

Well my car has the power. I just hope it will have more since better airflow has been added to the bigger turbo. I'll have to test everything out to make sure nothing has been f'ed up. Oh, and lol at Xtremes misfortune.

Thanks Bob, we gotta do this alot more often! Maybe we can do a monthly BBQ (BYO) at the Drift Office shop, let's keep building momentum on this last event and get something going on a more frequent basis.

Make sure to thank Jessie's Dad and all the other behind the scenes that made this event possible.
Lloyd

It was a S13 not a S15.

Wow great pics. The second and 3rd are awesome. I might have to come out and give this a shot once I get my car done, and if all goes well I should have more than enough power to slide through the corners.

Lloyd you will have to show me how to drift.

I came from the domestic world which means that most racing happens in a straight line
