It's Alive!!!

I was able to get my FB started and running pretty good. A new intake manifold gasket, new set of spark plugs (I gave in) and starting fluid works wonders. I kept spaying in starting fluid tell I was able to get it fully un-flooded. It took a few starts and some throttle input but she came around.

Now I just need to hook up the fuel gauge (ran out of fuel in my driveway), the water temp gauge and a few other minor details and the FB is road worthy. Yeeaaahhhh!!!

I also got a call from Mike and he has my engine rebuilt and ready to go in. I just waiting on my turbo. I hoping to see it on Monday, but I'll see.

Isn't funny how everything starts to come around right after you had to be somewhere (AB)?

BTW: What are all us losers doing since we are not at AB?

Sure, but you'll have to come over and help me tune it first. It runs a touch rich, throttle tip in boggs and stalls out bad.

Damn, everybody is going to be SC now. I guess I turbo this one to be different. haha. But I like CodeBlues setup very much.

No I don't think I can make this months Izzy's. I'll be tinkering with my FB tonight. Plus the FB only has slicks on right now, that would be a touch too much fun in the wet on the freeway.

First thing I'm going to do is swap out the holley blue for a stock pump. Damn thing is too loud. Then I won't need my Mallory FPR so those two items will go for sale shortly.

But otherwise the FB has all the mods needed. I may end up swapping out the stock sway bars for my aftermarket (larger) ones. I need to hook up all the gauges and tune the thing. In the long run I need to make the car more DD friendly. Right now it has been gutted for race. Which is more then fine by me. I like it. But I could use some music.

I guess I'll update my sig and add the FB with all of it's goodies.
