INWR Meeting July 12th A Note from the President

Note form the new Pres.

Well I'm not sure if everyone knows what happened at the last meeting or not so I will pass it on.

July 12th at 7:00PM at the Crossroads Jesse, Melody and I showed up at the INWR meeting, after waiting for half an hour for others to show up we decided to go ahead with the meeting.

1. First on the agenda was Elections. There were two of us there that had been nominated already and Jesse felt the need to help out, so this is what we decided.

Allen Ervin: President
Jesse Finch: Vise president
Melody Ervin: Secretary/Treasurer.

Due to the way things worked out at the meeting in the future if others think that there should be another election later then that would be fine. Due to the lack of officers in the club we decided that something needed to happen.

2. Next on the agenda are the Eastside's Drags, Yearly BBQ, Poker Run, and Valley Chapel Road drive "7/28 & 29" to which we encourage the westsider's to attend as they do us for there BIG BBQ.

At this point we are looking for a way to make this work without one set of people putting out all of the financial support for this event.

The first thing that comes to mind is a potluck style event which most of our picnics are anyway.

Next would be along the same lines but everyone would bring a bag of burgers (what ever size they come in at the stores), Bag of chips and a 12 pack of something to drink, people would be allowed to take one of the things off the list for every home made thing they bring e.g. Dip, Fried Chicken, Desserts etc. and anything left over would be added to a page on the inwr.org website for accountability and stored for the next event (with the obvious exception of home made stuff).

Third would be to send donations to a PayPal account for the purpose of funding events.

3. Since we are the hosts for the next Rotor Rally we need to start working out the details for next year's event.

New Venue or not.
If you have any ideas we are open for them.
If you have comments we are open for them too.
