$1800 and you can't use that to fix your FC? The 240 is dependable. The only chronic problem with it is injector failure. All nissans of that era had horrible injectors. Just don't neglect the FC after buying that!

uh... Good price but...
It's kinda automatic... and the front end is kinda trashed...

For reference... ALL new seals for a 13B are ~$700 via Atkins, and BRAND NEW rotor housings are ~$600/ea shipped... So $100 more and you could have a nearly brand new 13B! ^_^ [There's some reliability!]

i don't have an fc at the moment. on the NWN site, he dropped the price to 1200. lol i know how much each component of a 13b is.. i would just have to buy a shell and whatnot. as far as the car being an automatic, i have a friend with a 5spd swap.. front end isn't too awful bad, i've worked with worse lol

i would just put that money into an FC in the first place, but otherwise the injectors are the only thing i can think of that go bad on these often. I have had one of them and a 200sx and both had that happen to me.. Otherwise they are a blast!

240's are great cars, the ka will go on forever. most of my friends drive em and im always at 240 meets off of nwn...they are very...very predictable. i like them. i would own them. but the 7 comes first. im not telling you not to buy it, you will do what you want. for 1800 its a little high considering you would have to do the 5 speed swap. (i have a ka trans sitting in my shed that my friend isnt doing anything with) also that front end needs some love...alot of love, and then paint after you love it. but its hard to say no to 1200...

just make sure you check it out before you buy it cause its cheap. there is usually alot of reasons things are cheap. just dont forget about the 7...

lol you know how we all have that friend that knows a lot about certain things? like there is a computer friend, an rx7 friend, honda and nissan/240 friend? i've got a 240 friend that i'd take with me to check it out and have the car pass his inspection xD. 1200 would be a great price for the car. incubus.. i could never, and i mean NEVER own a honda. unless of course it is an acura NSX.. in which case i would sell body parts for. and yeah, if the right 7 comes along.. i'll ****** it up o_O

lol about thwe 2 rx7 thing, in the last about 6 yrs or so ive allways had at least 2 rx7 at a time, i only had one instance where i had no working rx7 it was in 07 the period of a week my main DD black na was totalled in a wreck, and then my na-t blew the engine. so i bought a vert for 600 dollars that ran and drove that all summer! haha, so i was only down with no car for about 4 days.

$1200 isn't bad for the car.. Though usually a clean auto 240 can be had for about that much.

I'm also in the 2x7 club
I've only had a couple weeks without a running car because of some *&#$ed Tahoe.. My Red base had a blown coolant seal I was being lazy about, and the gray GXL got hit.. Engine swap and I was back up and running.

woundup, that 240 is a really good looking car. And it already has lightweight rims I'd pick up something like that for a daily in a heartbeat.
Joemaddox is right on too.

And if you want a car that will attract the ladies, a volvo is the way to go (or an aston marton db9, but those are hard to find for $1200)
