I'm done.

Done messing with my car and getting pissed over it. Been trying to fix a vacuum leak for about a year now, and getting no where.

There was a shop up in Portland that someone recommended, but I can't remember the name. They said it was across the street from either pineapple or where ground zero was. That ring a bell at all?

If I can find a good, reliable, trustworthy place to take my car then I will do that.. instead of taking a sledge to it. lol.

HELP.

Have you tried pressurizing your intake system the very end (where your filter is) and pouring soupy water all over your engine? Has fixed all of mine/ my friends vac leaks asap. A lot of them end up around the throttle body and injector grommets. Don't give up.

If I can get it running to the point where I would want to make that long of a drive. I'll definitely think about coming up. Right now I don't even want to look at it.

I used to talk to him a bit, but he had a lot of his plate at the time and didn't want to pester him.

I haven't tried to pressurize the intake system, or soapy water. I was just spraying carb cleaner to find the general area of my leaks. It's usually under the UIM. Maybe when my blood pressure lowers and I don't have headaches anymore, I'll give that a shot. But right now it's parked, and will probably stay here for a while.

I know that on top of the leaks, my tps, and throttle adjustments are out of whack. I figured there is no reason to fix those until the leaks are fixed. I used to spend hours reading about these problems are what the fixes are, and I understand them, but for some reason they always fail. So, for now.. **** it.
