Exclamation I Have No Guages....

NEED HELP LOCATING WIRE GROUNDING OUT !
The only guage that seems to still be working in my car is the mph. I have no rpm , voltage , fuel , or temp guage, Is there anyone local that knows how to hunt down a hot wire!

something is grounding out and i have no guages. As soon as i put in a new 7.5 fuse (meter fuse) it blows instantly. I have no idea where to look for the wire grounding out. If ya got some skills in this field pm me and we can work something out (your price to fix)
thks jason.

lol the fuses are there to protect the wires from frying and possbily starting a fire so putting in a bigger fuse would be a horrible idea.

do this, remove the whole gauge cluster, and then put htat fuse in, if the fuse still blows then something in the wiring harness is fried. then start tracing down the wires from the gauges...

if it doesnt blow, then something in yr gauge cluster is fried and get a new cluster

Sure it is a wire? With all this rain we got in the last couple of days your car may of developed a water leak and this may be shorting out your fuse.

Just a wild guess but if you have a tilt wheel take off the cover and check the wires in the column. I have seen this with other cars and it might of happened with yours.
