Dang dude....that happened to me when I first bought my car...and I had the same issue with ordering...I would if I had one extra. I'll check with Robert in Albany and if he has an extra one I'll bring it up to town tomorrow.

i just posted a thread about it. . . . . . first of all, its really hard to get out. second, twenty two years of it being on there it didnt really want to come off. (even though the guy i took it to said he replaced it i really dont think he did cuz it shouldnt go out after 4 years). third, its really hard to get out. i wish mazda enginered things better in the 1980's /'79 n on
Yeah I had to take mine to Tirefactory to get mine off....I used a screwdriver in one of the mounting holes and a wrench in the other hand...that worked somewhat...

hmm, if i had the time i probably went with the mazdatrix hose or ordered it from mazda for like 20 bucks n that would take 3-4 days. just took the old one to oil filter services n got a dot legal braided line for like 29 bucks which is a lil ouch but hey i got it. n it wasnt that much of a bitch to get the pushrod on the slave to go into the shift fork so im near completion. . . HOPEFULLY

I just pulled the hard line and rubber hose off a '85 at Portland Auto Wrecking today. I first loosened the 17 mm fitting before taking it off the bell housing. Removed the 10mm at the clutch master next, then removed the two 12mm at the base of the slave. Popped the clip loose and had it off the slave in five minutes. I probably would have taken even more time to do it but it was snowing like a bitch. If anyone needs anything its sitting in row #1. Dark green. It is pretty un-molested at this point.
