Gauging interest in drawings of your cars

I've always thought it would be cool to have a drawing of my car done. Well I've got a new co-worker who is an artist and agreed to do a drawing of my car for me I just though maybe some of you would be interested as well. The drawings are going to be in black and white, she does a lot of charcoal work. Should look sexy I'll keep you posted once I receive it. I do believe if you are interested in having one done of your car she would be willing to do so for a small fee.

I was thinking of doing that... the drawing cars thing. Good idea! It takes some time to draw them nice... or at least for me +12hrs.

Yeah she's planning on having it done by Xmas, she's got about 3 or 4 other projects going right now, so it's a little delay. Plus she doesn't have my pictures to reference yet... She'll be getting those from me soon. We just picked them last night

I'm sure she could, yeah. Basically, if you get her something to reference, such as a photo, she could do it. I've seen her recent projects and she's good I'm going to talk to her tonight a little mroe about this. I'll keep you updated. I'll probably end up being a go-between. We'll see....

Sweetness. Yeah I talked to her last night about it. Told her I had a plan to make her some extra cash, she thought I was talking about drugs lol Once I have my photo I'll post it up and you guys can make your final decisions. But she is more than willing to do so. Also, I'll talk to her about prices and see what we can work out. Thhx guys

Ok so it's not my car, but this is a copy of the HKS Hi Power logo etched in my exhaust drawn in charcoal that I just had her do for me. She's working on the car.

I will post a picture of the actual logo on my exhaust for you to reference to see her skillz. It looks EXCELLENT! I just don't have the photo she used on this comp... Need my laptop.

And this was on my camera phone cuz I don't have my digital cam with me. 3 megapixel Treo camera ftw? Nah... Canon SD450 5.0 megapixel ftw!

Aaron,
I'll know more about prices in a couple of weeks when she gets mine finished. Then we'll nail down the prices for different sizes. I think the one she's doing for me is a 14x14 sheet?? I believe that's how large the HiPower logo sheet is...

If you are interested in this please PM me for an e-mail where to send your requests.

Your request should include:
1) At least 3 or 4 photos of what you would like drawn, preferably in black and white if possible
2) Specify what size drawing you would like IE 4x6, 12x12, 16x 24 etc...
3) Specify what type of drawing - charcoal or pencil
4) A deadline for when you would like the drawing to be completed, not saying this will be the definite date of completion. Keep in mind this is a hobby, not her true profession
5) Any other points you may feel are relevant to your request.

Once she receives your email and examines the pictures she will respond with a price, if you like it then You will most likely have to provide your own frame as I am having to as well.

I'm interested. I thought that would be cool to have done. Hit me up with some details such as the fee and swap pictures. Maybe after Christmas. Holidays are already killing me.
