That or severely worn out diff mounts. Damn, just recently got on this non corporate "safe" line. I broke my first one as well, but at one of the mounting ears, not at the structure like yours, damn.

I wonder if the welding you did got hot enough to anneal the spring steel sandwiched on the other side?

What you can't see in the pics is we removed alot of the glue at the seams and laid some 1-2" beads every few inches
