Last year Victor Moore provided the consistent high quality runs required to become the 2008 champion and earn an invite to the Formula Drift ProAm qualifier in Long Beach.
This year the talent is better than ever, the cars are more extreme, and the action will be more intense with changes to the competition format.
Changes for this year include:
Two Classes >
When the tire smoke settles trophies, cash, and product certificates will be awarded to the top 4 finishers and top qualifier in each class.
Stay tuned for additional announcements on EvergreenDrift.com:

Due to the low turnout for the 5/8th's so far this round will be 3/8ths only.
And don't you fret - You will get plenty of runs and a chance to win the purse. Up to 32 drivers will make the first tandem elimination rounds so everyone gets a taste of bracket elimination action. If we finish early it's open exhibition drift time!
Don't miss this chance to snipe competition points from all the slackers that don't have their car done!

For those who do not have a cage and cannot tandem our Pseudo Tandem elimination format allows all drivers the opportunity to compete head to head in bracket eliminations with a shot at the podium.

sick event. tandem was intense and the 12a fb was ripping it up. went head to head with a ls1 240sx and had to run 3 extra rounds because it was to close to call. pretty sick
Good event was a little dissapointed in the rotary turnout, few more paychecks and i think i might be out there. I was the white s5 w/front mount and carbon fiber lip. Saw that clean blue first gen, and red s4 vert in parking lot also a blue s4 gxl let me know who ya are, south sound next weekend. Oh and was the red TII competeing the one for sale with the sr20 swap? my buddy thought he heard 1J?

yeah Brendon and Garret's 12a must have been at least 160whp that thing hauled ***. They deffinently could have worked the rest of the field if they were driving the other peoples built cars
Went for a drive after then event with him running a dump off the header. 1st-3rd pulled real hard, way harder then I remember my 12a doing ahaha.

The red FC running last Sunday rocked a 2j
Round 2 is May 17th, let it be known. I will be posting a new thread soon. Thanks for coming out, hope to see more RX7's out there this summer!
May 31st is the next Open Drift, so if you want 6 hours of practice start getting prepped!

im gonna try to be there for the event and fosho the open drift, the 26april event was pretty good the red fc was cool, but the black S14 with the silver decals was off the hook
=P that red 240 had a wicked crash. Saw the rear bumper slide out at the initation of the dirft. Then the rear back tire when flying off to the barrier hitting then flying about 50 feet in the air. The car slid to a stop in the grassy ditch. I was there with Drift office Bob, I think the first words outa his mouth was something to the effect of, (tech inspection is very important.) Was a good first round, was hoping to see Earl take first but Drift Safari Skyline stole the win from Victor Moore. <--- (he was doing awesome all day)

That was Jay lollor, he is an old skool honda guy. He is a nice guy and a big car nut. He has the 10 second EF hatch that runs up at mission all the time with Kyle statama.
