It's getting nicer out people. So what events/g2g do we have going on??

It seemed like a while ago we had all these drive/cruise/coffee/donut events going on and now they're all gone. Go bump your threads so I can come along too!

There were several rotary specific or Mazda specific ones on Facebook.

The rotary ones that I have seen on facebook normally don't gather. and If they do, its like in Oregon, Canada or too far south for me (Everett) to even want to go to. I personally would love to see some rotaries get together. I really want to see an rx3/4 one of these days if anyone dries one

Winner!

I was looking for the Leavenworth drive. I'll be going to atkins' bbq. Last year it was the same day as redbull global rallycross AND couldn't go to either because I had family stuff planned.

WA

Definitely give a look at Mazda Militia WA! Great group of people. We could use more rotaries; it's getting a little lonely. We also have a rotary guru, Erick Krewson of Goodbox Motorsports. We keep up with all the meets in the area.

RX Northwest is also a great group if you're looking for something more wankel exclusive. lots of people who can help with RX troubles.

FDPac is a FD only group which is Semi-active with meets. Rotary guru: Jesus Cales-Rodriguez.

Yeah I recently joined the militia. And the other two groups I've been on. I just couldn't find much that I saw before. Jesus is an amazing guy all around. He rebuilt my turbo and did a fantastic job. I try to do all my own work but I don't mind giving him stuff. I also met Erick at his shop when I picked up my turbo from Jesus.

I dunno. The quality of the rotary clubs on facebook does not seem to be very good.

You get people talking about how cool their Paul walker stickers are and how they just slammed the car. There was one group in particular I left due all the posts being honda ricer boy caliber (*cough* purelyrx8 *cough*)

Best guess this is a result of all the posts being based on pictures rather than text. No actual knowledge gets shared there. Just look how cool ______ is.

If there is one thing I love about this club- everybody is extremely mechanically inclined. There's an old saying... rx7's; making mechanics out of ordinary men.

Even though I don't have a rotary car anymore- I'd still love to keep hanging out with you guys. Some of these other clubs are just baaaad.

I know this aint rotary focused, but there is going to be a 9th annual car show at Skagit Valley College. June 6th, 10am - 4pm. Address: 2405 E College Way, Mt Vernon, WA 98273

I went through the auto program there and teachers are great. There going to be all kinds of different cars, old school, new school, bikes, hot rods, muscle cars, imports. I might drive my z31, and my GTU (if I can get it to idle in time). Would love to see other rotaries.

Also I plan on going to Old School Reunion on the 7th
