Did you paint it assembled? Interesting color choice. You should see what colors I went with.

I'd help. But I just realized... I live like an hour and a half from you. My car is a bitch on gas, and I still don't have a job. I do love being around FC's, though.

Woah, that is ballsy. If I wasen't so busy with trying unsuccessfully to keep up with all the stuff going on in my life I would have thrown my cherry picker in the back of the B2000 and drove on down to give you a hand. Reality is life too F'in busy and I don't get enough FC3S time. Boo.

ya i ended up borrowing a cherry picker. just having a problem with the idle now. theres a noise coming from the engine bay i cant put my finger on. almost a whining. and also if i step on the gas real hard (also in any gear climbing a hill)i hear a knocking/tinging in the engine bay. one ding when im not moving and consistent when im driving up a small hill. wtf is that about?

ya i adjusted the CAS and everything to how it was supposed to b set. theirs a dot on the gear on the bottom u have to line up with the shaft notch when u put it in. even moving it around while it was running did nothing

Is something lose? I had that problem - it was my intercooler pipe knocking against something.

i re adjusted the CAS to factory. still runs a little rough at idle under 1k but the pinging sound stopped and it doesnt take that long to start it anymore. i can hear a hissing on the back side of the back side of the engine where the lower manifold bolts up. im pretty sure RTV isnt working. ill have to order some gaskets this payday

yeah, rtv isn't the best. worst thing that i have done in the long past was trying to reuse the old gasket on a 12a, with the gasket just being a little off kilter had snapped my intake manifold. wish i could say it only happened once, but this cheap *** did it twice.
