It's $7 to watch from the grandstands, $15 for a pit pass, and $30 to race

Did anyone go tonight??? How was the turnout this week?? My FD is back in action and if all is well with my oil and coolant situation then I'll bring it out next weekend

They're from Monroe.... what did you expect from inbreds??? lol Maybe it is 12.50 to get in, but I was told 7 when I was there, so either way it's much better to pay the 15 and get into the pits. You get to wander the whole track freely and get dirt on all the drivers and cars... As soon as I can score another trip permit I am gonna bring my FD out... Oh yea and a helmet too...

Good news!! I drove my FD yesterday after replacing my breaker between my battery and main fuse and installing my midpipe and the car runs awesome... With the exception of the clutch slipping if I try to mash through the gears... But the PFC made a huge difference and I found out that the coolant wasn't mixing with the oil, it was just disappearing and my oil was just still thin and honey colored! That's the first time I've ever seen it not be black!! lol So yea the car is obnoxiously loud, and much faster... So I will for sure be out there soon....

Ok now, the 12th is the day we'll be out there shooting a live show so if you want to get your car on film that will be your chance. If it turns out really well I could get a DVD to some who want one.

Well I was going to debut the 7 tonight... Funny story! I satrted it up and it was giving me coolant problems and the buzzer was dingin at me and whatever... The car had only been sitting for about 30 minutes so it wasn't nearly cooled down enough to re-fill so I wasn't able to get it out there! More damn problems... Ugh... I'm parking this thing until I'm ready for the new motor. Which is NOW, but not financially.... Damnit!

Well my times last night were a little inconsistant. my first run was a 9.424 secound run was a 8.769 my third run and only win for the night was a 7.646 my last run was an 8.934. I dont know how i pulled off the 7.646 if only i ran that consistantly. I wish it was a 1/4 mile instead of the 1/8 mile i hit third at the end of the track on my 7.646 run and it pulled hella good the other runs i was at the top of 2nd and spinning the 19's 1/4 of the way down the track.

Ok so to add to my last post... A 7.6 1/8th mile works out to a 11.7 1/4 mile... Not to dog on your car or nething, but you're saying you have an 11 second car with just a SMIC, intake, and 19's?! That's why it's so hard for me to believe......

Thats what the time slip said. The laidy even cercled it for me cause i didnt belive her. My response time was .595 Here i scaned it for yah tim. Sorry if its not very clear its been in my pocket all weakend so its a little beat up. I had to show it off to every one. My last Race was against mazda spead mike and i killed it at the start so he won so i had to at least brag that i was still faster to every one.

On this slip the dude i was racing against must have jumped the light. I think it says my time was 9.274 respons time was.728 but if this was the race i thouight it was i fucked up 1st to 2nd shift

Sorry about the multiple edits i cant get them to scan worth a **** the print is so light. I was also a bit off from the times i Quoted above i posted them from memory. So my times were 9.474 R 1.431 next run was 9.274 R .728 third was 8.934 R 1.442 forth was 7.746 R .595 and i didnt get a time slip for my run against mike.
I dont think i got a seven secound run myself so i will go in two weeks to try again.

The key is learning how to launch your car faster then getting accurate with the launch. 2.5 60ft times are really slow especially for a RWD car. My FB did 2.0 60fts and I was only putting down 140whp. you need to get out there and practice. In an FD you should be getting 1.9 60fts. Dump the clutch out of the hole from a 3k launch. If it boggs then try it 100 rpm more until it doesn't bog. Find the sweet spot. or the fast spot. a chirp out of the hole is allways faster than any type of spinning. A spinning tire isn't creating any friction to move you down the track.

Well 3k I have found to be very low for my FD... It bogs horribly so I found that at 4k if you ride the clutch a little bit with sticky tires you get a decent launch, but I can go higher cuz I could feel it! But after that run at PR they kicked me off for no helmet... Damnit! The one run where I actually got traction.

Thanks for the proof Jacob, I think maybe they goofed , but I dunno... Good idea goin back! Cuz my fastest time in 1/8th to date was my 8.8 which was a 13.6 1/4 at PR....

Yah i suck at launching. My shifts are slow and early. It was my first time with the 7 at the track. I want to race it more and get alot better at it. Its hard not to get excited at the start.
