Do I just have bad luck?

My forst string of bad luck was with the carb setup I ordered on the forum (long story short, took 2 months to get what I paid for, and it didn't even end up being what I paid for). Next I order an engine stand adapter on ebay from scalliwag_performance (scalliwag on the forum) on June 8th. Long story short after countless emails, ebay messages, a paypal claim, and a pm still no word! Next I ordered the rotary avaition rebuild video and the R&R video on June 24th and it allegedly arrived today. I check my mailbox with excitement only to see a key to open a larger mailbox (that is how the mailboxes are setup at my apartment). When I open the larger package mailbox there is not a damn thing in it! Did the mailman giove the package to someone else? Did someone else have access to that box and take my package? Does the mailman still have my package! I have no EFFIN' clue! All I know is I want what I deserve! I want what I paid for! And I want it NOW! I am soo pissed at how the mail system works at the apartment and I am so sick of the dishonesty of some of the sellers online! I don't think some people would have the ***** to pull a fast one on me if I were to confront them in person! I am not exactly a small person (6'5" 300lbs) but for the most part I am easy to get along with and pretty easy going. I am just tired of this ****! And the longer I have to wait and waste on on things I have already paid for is time and money taken away from being able to get my rx7s on the road again! Sorry for this rant but people, please share your expiriences and the names of the people that caused them so that you can help save other people grief, time, and money!

sorry to hear that man. The mail system is pretty f*cked up. Snail mail. I believe someday at least, smal things like bills and letters wont be sent via USPS. "secure" email.

my size is a reason for me wanting to remove the storage bins, move the seat rails back, get racing seat, and a smaller steering wheel.

Riggin sorry to hear about your problems. I have never had any difficulties with rx7 people, I think because I mostly buy my parts locally and I go and pick them up. Codeblue2 how long have you been waiting for your microtech?

Good luck to all those with bad luck.....I will give you some of mine...wait a second I need it for the engine swap!

Looks like my luck just changed! I got ahold of the mailman and he accidentally gave me the wrong package box key! So now I have my rebuild videos! Also to my surprize the two tracking numbers I was given for my engine stand adapter ended up showing information this morning that the packages had arrived at the local post office... And to my suprize the two tracking numbers turned out to be two engine stand adapters! Considering the wait, lack of communication, and frustration I believe I got what I deserved! IN a good way though!

Good that everything is looking up for you. Send some of your luck my way...lol

Zzzz Its been a month so far
I guess it can take up to 2 weeks to ship to Microtech, 2 weeks for repair, and 2 weeks to return from Microtech, and probably another 2 weeks for GP. So hopefully soon.

One thing you hav to take into account blue is that you have to pass it back through customs also, and that can take weeks some times! Hope you have it back soon! I love your supercharger setup and I hope it gets tuned to what it needs to be and hits the numbers you realistically predict it will... Key word "realistically"! I think others have great ideas for a seperate supercharger setup that could be better, but too much money has already been invested in blue for what she has given back to you. In my own opinion keep blue supercharged to be unique or turbocharge it for known, proven, and cheaper results (plus as I recall your motor was made for the sudden and higher amounts of boost that turbos "can" produce). Funnny that I just thread crapped my own thread.

I second riggin. Waiting is for sure a test on your patience. Just think that you will just be more happy when you get it

If it makes you feel any better I have been waiting for over 7 months to get my street bike back from the paint shop. And that is including me going in there a couple times and doing body work on my own bike. Kettleman doesn't even think I have a bike. I'll show ya kettleman and when you get your car back up and running I will whoop ya with it.

Dang shouldn't have given my luck away...I don't want to know how things are going to go for me now.
