Disappointed!
I just got back from over a 800 mile round trip up to the Washington area today.
I only saw 2 Sevens' the whole trip.
1 SA I believe this morning at about 5:30 AM traveling at warp speeds North bound on I-5.
1 Red Fd about 10:15 Am heading South bound on I-5 just outside of Portland.
I thought with some of the meets that were listed that I would of seen more on the road. :-(

Hey there were more 7's at AB then I've ever seen in one place so it was all good, I enjoyed it! Look forward to next year, come on the Code Blues put it all together themselves, with help it should be huge!

As for the small turnout, it really wasn't too bad. We had a good group and a full banquet. Not a bad show for a couple people putting it together. Props to the blues.

you know you want this
don't bitch about the "problem" if you aren't part of the solution.
at least it seems everyone else had a pretty good time

I did have my car out there, just not in the show. I don't feel that my car is necessarily a "show" car, but I should have brought it in I guess. I am from California and am used to SevenStock in So cal with a few hundred sevens which states where my disappointment stems from. I just have to deal with the fact that the enthusiast scene up here is much smaller and the shows/rallies/gatherings reflect that. I expected the "largest gathering of rotary powered vehicles in the North West,' to be a little, larger.

I agree with Notveryhappyjack. I expected this to be a some what lower turnout than in past years, due to skipping last year. But if we do continue and have this again I know we will have more than 30 cars next year. Never as much as what your use to in CA, but for WA 30+ is pretty good at one time.

Also, having attempted to plan gatherings in previous years it's very tough to get people in the northwest to show out... And we also seem to be notorious for saying we will be somewhere and then not showing up. There were MANY no shows this weekend at ABF. There was only one car from Olympia that showed up out of all those who said they would attend. But out of all the packages purchased I think there were only 4 that were unclaimed. But I know there were people who didn't come over who didn't buy packages
