At times Ive had thoughts of just getting rid of my car also Greg cause I get frustrated with it when the little things go wrong. With my car being over 25 years old and modded to death, what can one expect out of it. I go down that pity road at times when I think about how many thousands of dollars Ive put into my car when something minor happens, but with any modded car you are going to have issues no matter what kind of car it is.

Just not too long ago I made a call to a friend in the Seattle area about my car and how frustrated I was with it. This person told me to get a grip and quit being so damn negative whenever minor things go wrong with my car. This person was right, so Im passing it down to you...the same advice.

You have a great start on your car now Greg. When you dont have money to put into the car, work on the things that don't cost anything. When you get a job and on your feet again then dump a few dollars here and there into your car. Eventually, you will get what your wishing for, but dont go selling your car etc just to get another car that you will have to also maintain, especially a honda.

Chin up Greg

Mr. Blue your rite a little at a time, I've been working on my RX4 over 20 years now, little at a time, been times where I didn't have a pot to **** in and still kept it, been times where frustration was at a point just to get red of it, now I need to pull the motor to fix a oil leak and it's going to sit until the time is rite, I'll keep it fix it and make more up grades.
If he has it he will keep his or march to his own tune.

I'm not intending to talk your thread down by saying this but in the end, your decision should have absolutely nothing to do with anyone on here. If you're fed up up with the rotary then I'd say switch out to a piston car and see how you like it. Unless you've got a ton of work that you put into it, it wont be extremely hard to go back if you want. If you've got a couple hundred hours into it, then it might not be so easy to do. Personally if I didn't have an rx-7, I'd have an MR2, Eclipse or Talon
