Car with out title , What can I do?
you be fuked... unless you want to take him to court to get the title... the bank actually owns the car, not him, so he couldn't legally sell it the way he did. your other option would be to pay the bank what he owes.
Strip it and get rid of the car... crush it, put it in a lake... whatever you do just get rid of it. If the guy comes back looking for his car or the bank for that matter... *whistle, whistle, whistle* no clue where the car is occifer...
Ya pretty much your screwed with doing anything with it, as he was not legally able to sell it. I'd return it to him, or go tell the bank that he sold it. Or better yet, yes take him to court to get the title for it, and then they will either award you the car and award him the money he ows to the bank to be paid.... lol
Wish there was a better option, but frankly i don't think there is.

Yes, you may be able to have a shop or tow company file a lien and get a new title issued. It's done all the time. But if the owner really didn't have a right to sell it, due to a current lienholder, that can obviously cause problems. How do you know the bank didn't want it...is that what you were told by the deadbeat owner? Have you contacted the bank yourself?
You paid $$ for a stolen car. Call the bank and see if they want it back. My guess is they do unless your talking about a high risk loan place.
What type of car is it?

It's a good idea to get all the FACTS. It may be that the bank doesn't want it back, they don't like to deal with selling used cars unless they're high dollar cars. You may be able to get the title from them just so they don't have to be bothered with it.
