boost gauge question

WA boost gauge question

ive had my boost gauge in my car for along time now but never wired up the light on it haha the wires are there and the light works, but i dont know what to wire it into haha, some one helps me so it turn on and off with my lights =)

You need to tap into your harness in the steering column to the accessory wire for your headlights that only has power when the lights are on. You'll need a wire tester to find which wires have currents, unless you can get your hands on a wiring diagram, which I'm sure you could find in the FSM or 2nd Gen Tech section...

I know it's a lot of wire to install, but I just wired mine to the light in the ashtay thing. then zip tied all the wires up under the dash. I used that because I knew that it would be on wih the headlights on, and it would adjust with the dimming potentiometer

The light for the cigarette lighter also works.

It is right next to the steering column on the FD so is quite convenient, not sure about FB or FC.
