Battle of the Imports, August 27th, Pacific Raceways
Hey ya'll. Anyone going to Battle of the Imports? Intec Racing is a huge sponsor for this years event. Check out Pacific Raceway's Website or BOTI's website for more information.
Anyone that passes the safety inspection can race in the ET bracket, and if you meet BOTI quals, you can perform in the Pro series. Last year, One 1st Gen RX-7 ran the ET, RX7.com's orange FD battled in the PRO RWD class, and a black 3rd Gen was there.
We gotta represent the Rotary Nation up here in the North West. If pricing is the same, it's $5 to get in, and another $20 if you want to race in ET bracket. The cool thing about ET bracket is that it doesn't matter how fast you are, just as long as your consistent.
There will also be a bikini contest, raffles, car show, audio competition. On August 20th, Intec will be performing a dyno day for FWD and RWD vehicles only. $15 for the strap down, and $5 per pull. So if you wanted 5 pulls it'd only be $40! I'm gonna try and get there, you may want to call ahead of time. If there a lot of people waiting they can give you an estimate when the dyno will be available.
If you have any questions about anything let me know and I'll do what I can to get them answered for you.

That he did, ran a 9.86 on his second pass of the day. Estimated 300whp on a FWD. It's too bad my buddy won't show up in his N/A teg, he should be running low 11's/high 10's.

N/A definatley has it's potential, but I think I'm more partial to rotary, although I'd need about 500whp to hit the low 11's, vs 250 whp in a N/A vehicle the same weight as my FD.

Yes you can push your car, as long as your consistent! How's the car going? Mines on jackstands from a problem I had a couple weeks ago, but I just picked up a daily driver! 2005 Hyundai Elantra GT (still slow, but damn that's a good warranty! And 33mpg)
