btw , that hatch dude is my buddy phil{ just a little confused .lol } hes done most the work ,on modifing my 7 ,,,,,great guy. he used to have a white t2 ,you tube video , rx7 4th gear pull...... bob and robert no him well. boost guage jinx............................10mm

I wasn't going to modify the T2 much, but now I just don't think I can help myself. I'll be doing some studying. I'll be getting a FMIC asap. I hate the intercooler on top of the engine. I think I will ditch the AC, I'm sure one or the other has to go for a front mount anyway. Then I think I'll get a water injection system, some kind of engine management, bigger injectors, MSD or Crain box, and raise the boost. that sould keep me around 2 grand ish in parts. Probably have a manual boost controler, and find as much used parts as I can.


Can anyone tell me how much boost I can run and keep this exhaust (duel 2.5" catback) I really like the tone and sound. I enjoy being able to hear everything besides my loud *** exhaust. all the bends look mandrel bent. I'm willing to pull cats, and run a custom down pipe. I'm not looking for tons of power, but more.

No boost gauge yet, I cant afford 30 bucks at the moment. I cant even afford 20 for a cheepo ebay one. They have "nitrous" brand boost gauges for 20 bucks at harbor frieght. Probably a waist of 20 bucks and even more unreliable as the stock gauge.
See...I'm not ******* on all Hondas but I don't wanna waste the gas. Oh boohoo, you drive a turbo seven...you can't go to the store to pick up lunch meat and not burn 5 bucks in gas. I don't care if mines fast in a straight line, fast is fast. And a boost guage is pretty much a vacuum line, it measures mmhg an psi, pretty hard to mess it up most def worth the money.

Hell i'll race you in my suburban for ***** and giggles, we'll call it a "practice run" though....(it does have a hypertech chip in it though, and that gave it many horsey's)

Why don't you just ride on your wires back the way you're talking everything you touch becomes fast. I'll take on anything within my power range, no this doesn't mean your wifes uncles dogs cousins 200 pound car with 500 horse in it. Guess a lot of ppl hate hondas, I personally hate the beaners ones or the ones bought built already, but when you do all the engine work yourself you gain respect for them, I still have a love for sevens just wanted to learn about piaton engines. You can race my friends chevy luv with a 383 built stroker motor with all your toys. I'm not saying my hatch is the fastest in the world, just saying I can beat those two, barney has been waiting since 1960 to race my hatch lmao

v mounts are nice for throttle response, but is going to cost way more. We are relocating the battery on barneys car, so we can fit the piping. Look into a way to add more fuel before you severly crank the psi up, the fcd already on the car may not be dong you any good because you don't know how much boost you are putting in, if you are craming more 8.5psi on stock ecu and fuel system you are goig to have more problems than beating a Honda. Stock radiator shroud and radiator will work fine for cooling mods. Water/meth injection is not a bad idea, usually only used for high boost applcations and is pretty spendy. Just make sure you get a boost guage, don't want to find you are having a boost creep make sure well I recommend a turbo timer, you need to pet her warm up and cool down with ample time. First things first is going competely through the engne bay and changes fluids and lines, but this a not your first seven so I'm sure you know.

Yeah, I'm not modding her yet. Next week I'll have gas money to be rice hunting. again I'm not ******* on all hondas. I use to have a prelude. It was a cool car. It wasn't fast, but it handled really good for fwd. still did a 120 with a stretched throttle cable. I wan't high boost. not right now, but soon. I should be getting my financial aid soon. I don't mind not having anything but car parts. I find ways to feed myself. boost gauge is first thing. I'm not sure if the injectors or stock. I've got a bag of 4 injectors that look stock. I havent had enough time to take it appart and check to see if theres aftermarket injectors in the engine. If the car was mine when injectors were replaced theyd be aftermarket. but I don't know if ***** would put stockers, or aftermarket.

BTW my buddy is thinking of doing a AWD Honda hatch. that will be a bad *** honda.

Fiberglass fenders, trunk lid, hood, no hinges, pin on all around. tubbed, aluminum trunk floor. NO firewall parts-heater core,blower motor, wipers, pwsteering, ect... Shaved cored dash, with aluminum plate with auto gauges. Cored doors.
Interiors got a carbon seat, battery, dash, carpet, headliner....

The heavy things are: The chassy(unibody, c frame =light), outer metal(mopar has the thinnest metal in the 60's). the glass, and the bumpers...

I took the car to a weight station to get its numbers without the motor and tranny, seat, battery, rad and on STEELIES, and it weights 1136lbs... So all said and done, the car will be around 1900 and some change...(not including my body weight, but thats not much,lol)

The car was not that heavy to begin with....

Your car: Curb weight 2,625 lb (1,191 kg) - 3,071 lb (1,393 kg)
The Stock superbee: 3240 Lb (1470 kg)

ok, so i waved my petter around,lmao!!....Wanna race :P

RWD FTW.... Weight displacment is key...I've seen a 800HP FWD eclipse get destroyed by a 260hp RWD 7.....

You should totally pm me some pics of that luv though, would "luv" so see it ok that was bad....

And not everything i touch is fast, just everything i own gets 2 much of my monthly income,lol.....

And i am sorry, i do hate honda's......

the injectors are prob, stock,, and pump and ecu. the reason pine apple so busy is cuz/ psi , and lean,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, stay away from chasing hondas, BOOM !!!!!! :{ill smoke u all.lol,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,10mm

Are you both going to be off on the 5th. Its a saturday. I need to take a long drive in it before I give DEQ a shot. I took the T2 up germantown last night. I was easy on her though. I really like drivng that road in the FB. cars soo light it just flys around those tight corners. and its loud, so all wildlife leave the area, before I'm even close. I was worried about hitting a dear or other animal.

I use to have a chevy LUV, It was a cool truck. It was a 2WD version. My original plans where just as your friend has his with a 383 stroker, but then I decided to do a brigeport 13B turbo. then I went camping and my neighbor had it towed.....So no more LUV. I loved that car though. It was really a clean body also. no rust. I'll be getting revenge sooner or later.

He better be putting the real time awd in the old ef chassis...theres one on youtube.

Def get a nice set of injectors if you find out those are not the aftermarket units, or you can send the bag of the mystery injectors out to rc and they can upgrade the cc's, but like always aftermarket injectors work differently than regular injectors. I paid 200 for 4 brand new rc750's, bruce paid aroud the same on ebay for 2.

Holla on the financial aid, Mines been on hold because of that too, plus I just found out that I still owe the hospital 9 hundred they told me I was good, then said bam theres another bill; so be grateful. I have the almighty harbor freight boost guage in my car, it works just fine and gives vacuum too, before you hit any psi. I imagine the only thing about the guages is the lifespan on them. Just make sure that you worry about intake temps more than boost. If you really want the horsepower than upgrade the turbo and keep the same psi its running. Your can sounds fun, just dont drive it like Bruce hahahah

Hatches are fun, everyone says why the hell did you covert, well when I was driving slow to college and draining a quarter of a tank one way, **** got spendy, and truth is a hatch can still get 25 mpg highway with boost...thats the only reason. I miss kicking the rear end out but my brothers looking into a fb or fd so Ill still get to drive one

And just like when your on jury duty, people with prejudices don't get to partake in the trial...haha. I used to drive around in my seven and gice the thumbs down to honda hatch and beaner mobiles, but now I got one and cant do that.

The fact is I love pretty much every car; if I had a monthly income such as you, everything I would touch would get a touch of fast "luv" as well. The fact remains that I do not have that much money a month coming in, so for now Ill build the turbo hatch and hope for good gas mileage on the highway...haha

To each their own...and BTW ask barney10mm....Im rocking the rotary love stickers on the hatch so everyone knows that im a rotorman at heart just had to see what the hell this hatch craze is about haha

I think he is doing a real time AWD. He told me all about it a few weeks ago, but I was only half *** listening. I just want to do the welding on it. I'm suppose to go help him sometime, but our schedule's haven't let that go down yet. I cant believe my schedule of doing almost nothing can interfere with something.

Also I don't really care about gas, but my girlfriend yells at me. the first day I went through just about a hole tank. I didn't even drive much. But I havent got to drive her all day. I'm going out. She's been yelling at me about how much gas I've been going through. The FB got about 20MPG average, and I drove her hard. I though turbos got slightly better milage, since they run lower RPM on average.

But the 20 dollar harbor freight works good? I was thinking the numbers would be off. I want a little more relyability. can somone post a pic of where I'm supose to t the vacuum line? to put it in. I don't want to cut tons of lines trying to figure it out.

LMAO!!!! Dont i know it! One of these days i will learn to consolidate..... Its hard enough trying to decide what car gets what money each time its time to drop a few hundred into one...lol... I just cant seem to get rid of one or stick to one build at a time, oh i have tried, and oh do i fail... I'm trying to convince myself that i dont need to go get a datsun 510 right now,lol.....Keep telling myself, no no no-gota get the intake and fuel system for the 7...lol

I dont mean to hate on honda, i just cant help it, honda and MG are not somthing i have ever liked. The wife had a civic, an accord, a prelude and i had a crx... And i hated and sold all of them,lol... Just never liked the FWD. But hey, if you like it right on, i just had to talk a little **** on someone throwing out hate on the 7's with a honda :P. But seriously i would love to see the luv! Got a friend down here who has a built orange one, and its insane!

jinx isnt that about normal gas milage for that car? I thought that the FC-T got about 20 or less?

much less. The FB's get around 17 to 20 stock on a good day. I drive the **** out of mine and Have mech secounds so I'm dumping fuel every time I press the gas. but the open exhaust, and weight reduction make it so it averages 20mpg on every tank. I think its becuase the FC weighs so much more.
