Arrow Artery Clogging Food and Frosty Mug of Root Beer

After the disappointing experience at A&W in Poulsbo, I think we deserve to finish off the December run with a real, honest to goodness, car lovers drive-in. A place that is unapologetically unhealthy. That serves Root Bear in Frosted mugs that come in two sizes (regular and Super Sport). The restaurant should have more car memorabilia than the walls can hold. It should give its food car related names like Piston (onion) Rings, 49 Woody, Chevelle, El Camino, and Cadillac.

Our final destination will be the XXX Drive-In in Issaquah. To make this fun, we'll be starting in Puyallup and scrambling over winding back-roads with the occasional Hwy stint where the back-roads have been overwhelmed.

I've been putting in a lot of time the last few days getting the-winding-road cleaned up. I've still got a long way to go before it matches my vision, and I've a bunch of new roads to go re-drive and write-up.

All the pertinent information for this drive is on the page linked below.

Sorry about that. I've been organizing a drive every month since June on the RX-8 boards, but haven't haunted here much lately. My 7 is currently sitting in my parents' garage waiting for me to save up for an engine.

Of course, you could always bring your car out to play regardless of the weather. If you can drive fast in the wet you can drive fast in the dry. If you can drive fast in the dry, you might be able to drive fast in the wet.
