Anyone know who's car this is for sale in The Dalles?

If anyone know who's car this is, just kinda wondering...

I went and saw it today... not worth the $900 he's asking for it... just kinda curious however.

Busted taillight, busted spoiler, missing front speakers, engine won't start, windshield leaks, s4 engine parts?, random switches and gauges everywhere, missing A-pillar... the list goes on...

Anyway, if someone wants to talk him down a ton I'd say please restore the car... it does NOT deserve what has been done to it.

FULL TEXT:

I need to sell my 89 rx-gtu. it has about 162xxx miles on it. has a clean title in my name. I cannot get it to run correctly atm. it will start and run if you keep your foot on the gas but as soon as you let off it will die. it's also burning a good amount of oil. I don't have any interior shots but the belts are stuck in the back position. everything else is in pretty good condition for a 20 year old car. asking 900 obo. would also consider trades for a 92+ civic hatchback shell, 94+ integra shell, maybe a motorcycle. Hand guns, possibly ps3 +cash. let me know what you have.

HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.................. .......................................HAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......... omg, I paid $400 for my car and it has only half as many problems as this car. It'd cost so much to repair that car there's no way I'd ever pay more than $400 for it. Honestly, I'd try to work the guy down to $300.

He had this on the for sale section here just a little bit ago, it seemed he would take 600 for it. So whats really wrong with it that he would not get that? I havent seen it in person so i am curious . I would imagine that parting it out would make him 600 easy , Also wondering if that is a S4 engine that was put in and if he still has the original block!

It seems like it's the s5... the ECU, intake, fuses, its all s5... he's scrambled together to get it running I think.

As far as what's broken... if you want a complete list of everything I found within... literally just 3 minutes of looking at it, and not going in-depth?

busted or missing pieces:
front speakers
spoiler
tailights
gauge cluster
a-pillar
front lip
front bumper
front carpet
drivers seat
passengers seat
radio
climate control

Then it has several random *** switches that disconnects power from the battery? I don't even know wtf he was talking about on parts of what he had done. There was another switch connected to extra gauges he had where the radio should have been even? Don't ask me.

So the motor is an S5 with S4 intake? Knock sensors the give away with the housings so i would imagine the interenals are s5 if the housings are, could be good??

Well it definatly sounds like a wiring nightmare, lol!!!!

If you look close, you can see the S5 throttle body on the S4 upper and lower intake, which is possible, but defeats the point of the VDI system.

I dont know if you could save that car?

That would be my car. I'd like to point out that I had hidden nothing about the car when I have spoken with buyers. I found out it had an s4 intake when I first came onto this site to get assitance on getting myself into the car. The "random" switches everywhere is a single switch for the running lights because the switch had gone out and I hadn't had the chance to take it off and get a new one on.

And as joemaddox pointed out for anyone else I would be willing to take a hell of a lot less, unfortuanately for the OP with as many offers as I have on it at the moment for more than he offered and beside that i'd sell it for half of what he offered to someone else strictly because he was acting like an arrogant *****.

I'm sorry that you feel like I'm acting like an arrogant *****... however you were not 100% straight forward about it.

In the ad you specifically say it's in overall good condition for a 20 year old car, when that many pieces are broken on it?

That's not being straight forward in my opinion.

Is what i think we need!!

I just want to point out that the housings, rotors, tail light(the non broken one), interior parts, 5lug brakes, tranny, tires/rims, mirrors and sheetmetal should easilly part out for over 600.00.....

I am a jerk and i see parts prices becuase i usually buy a car or parts with the intentions of taking the one part i want(in this case it was the rotors and housings) and selling the rest so that my purchase was technically free....

So to defend the seller a little, i have to point this out
