Im looking for a parts car I can cut the back hatch off of for a "project". I need from the front of the B pillar back, and the body curve where it levels out at the bottom of the hatch up. Id also like the glass if its intact, wiper isnt necessary. Free or cheap is best. Do you know anyone with a car I can cut up? Let me know!

Damn y'all, Spokane and Eugene? C'mon now, lol. Alright, well if you will have them for a while, Ill keep them in mind. Its for a friends project, and Im going out of country in a couple days with the Army, but when I get back we will most likely be getting one. I was just trying to find out if anyone had one we could come cut apart.

Heh, I'd let you have the GSL-SE I bought off ya, but I haven't started stripping it yet =p.

You just missed out on my dead SE, it would have been a great car to cut up.

 

yep... ya missed it all right... I stripped it and sent it off to the crusher. It's about 6 inches thick now.

well, post when you get back. i've got one. but you need to take the whole thing. i should have all i need off it when you get back.

 

I dont want another one, I just got rid of some! I just need the body sections from it, assuming the measurements work out now too. Hmm... Damn these ideas.

Oh, and x605p747R1, WTF is up with that car and getting rear ended?!

...It involves a Miata, lol. Although, after re-thinking it, the hatch might be too big...

I have no idea. The first was my fault and I spun it into a tree testing my new suspension on some wet roads, dumb ***. So I fixed the fenders and door (Black fenders green door) and the week beofre the car was going to be painted, I was rear ended on the freeway. That was fixed by a 2x4 and a 3 ton jack but at that point I through my hands in the air and said **** it. Shortly after it gets hit in a parking lot and the *** hole takes off my mirror. Some time goes by and then someone backs into the front left fender in a praking lot. Then my buddy dented the other fender and made the passanger door bind on the fender when you open it. But the end all for the car was when I spun it at 60 into a gaurd rail, you can see the damage. You don't even want to know how many times I changed strut assemblies and had to find a new SE rim. But the car is a blast to slide around.

Some cars are just doomed to be hit and I think this was one of them. What can you do?

 

Now the left door, fenders and front half of the right 1/4 panel have been installed on my racecar... they live to be crashed another day....
