I'm in the Kelso/Longview area but travel to Vancouver/Portland all of the time. Anybody in this area familiar with 12A's or FB's? Mine gets delivered on Saturday and I'd like somebody who knows what the heck they're looking at to give me some advice. My last RX-7 was an 86 FC 5 years ago so this is a whole new deal for me.

Nothing "wrong" with it that I know of. It runs/drives great. The seller admitted to "bypassing the shudder valve" and the exhaust has no cat (and is really hacked!).

 

Disabling the shutter valve is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. They cause way more problems than they're worth.

 

that sounds like a normal car. just drive it around, feel it out, then come out and show people, if somethings wrong i'm sure most people will help you out. thats how us 1st gen guys are.
