well well...ive always wondered if there were climbers on here, but im to lazy to ask. Im live north of most of you guys. Ive been climbing for 8 years now. i started in Montana, where i grew up, and moved out here a few years ago, but the climbing out here is few and far between it seems. i mostly go up north to Mount Erie(which has a very badass touge road to the top, which is plenty of fun, but pretty busy).

but im probably down for making some trips. Any interest in going to Index, or Gold Bar. Ive never been to either, but ive driven past them both plenty of times, and everybody ive talked to says they are both cool. and ive wanted to check out Exit 32 on I-90.

extra tickets to rise against, im listening to them right now...im might be interested in them if they are reasonbly priced....let me know....

haven't climbed there but have been there.

 

My buddy almost drove off that road one night around midnight...luckily some drunk guy on a moped came along and then went and got his car to pull us out. And he pulled us out with a Goldline climbing rope from the 60's....he was cool...

Yeah, that myt erie rd is nice, i wish it wasnt so busy and a bit dryer and wed be set.... oh and longer! i feel you on the lack of climbing in WA... i moved up from SoCal 2 years ago..... so i know where your coming from! anyway, glad to have your interest! We are still planning a drive out to Vantage this saturday (the 12th) an would be glad to have you along! let me know an we can meetup in northbend!

 

sorry....no can do this weekend. im going camping up near bellingham, but there is some bouldering i heard about that im going to check out.

BTW.... Vantage on the 12th was AMAZING.... i got a little pink (sunburned) which is awesome! and the climbing was great. we hung out around the feathers and i got my lead groove back into swing..... sent a 5.9 with little trub..... lotsa fun!

Everybody should go to this. I went last year, and it was awesome. they had free beer for a while, but that ran out pretty fast. Its a good time, if you like camping, and hanging out with hippies....haha....yea, check it out though, and leavenworth is world class climbing for sure....
