Any Rock Climbers?

So summer is just around the bend.... wondering if anyone in the seattle/ south sound area are into any local rock climbing? Possibly planning some fun sport climbing day trips/ RX7 cruises.... any interest??

I was up to 5.10 lead until I quite two years ago. I would like to get back into it, but don't have anyone to do it with around here. I got a full rack and 9mm rope if you guys want to do anything big, but in the 5.8-5.7 range.

Sweet! im glad to see there is some interest! although WA doesnt offer as much as CA in the way of climbing ( and driving ) ( i complain too much) there are some great local areas and even better areas that are 1-2 hour drive from the south sound..... Last summer, me and Fumihiko... with the black s5 tore up the local areas pretty well...
Tentatively, we have a drive out to the Vantage climbing areas in central WA... ( same exit off 1-90 as the Gorge Ampitheatre) That will be May 12th......... Prolly spend a full day out there... its about a 1.5 hour drive, If you do like i did last saturday and get a speeding ticky.... ug!

Another fun place, is Fossil Rock, down by Yelm..... we will def. be out there plenty of times this summer

Damn, there was a line! **** that, I'm used to having a few hundred available routes in one area. Ahh, I miss Colorado now.......

I'm game sometime this summer, I'll be way outta shape though.

OK, well lets say may 19th or 26th.... depending on the weather, and i know the Helens Run is on the 20th, so perhaps the 26th would be best....

For sure.... tentatively May 12th Vantage

May 26th Fossil rock ( depending on Shane)

Don't worry about having little experience, its fun no matter what, and we've got some decently seasoned climbers also.....
