Any interest in a rebuilt engine?

I have an extra S4 that I might consider rebuilding for someone if there is someone relatively local to Portland that wants it. I could just do a basic rebuild or a street port or whatever. Right now I'm working on the final assembly of my S4 and I'm projecting it should be putting down super super close to 200 rwhp.

I decided I would do a large street port on my engine, so the same would be in the rebuilt one!

It just seems to me that a 200rwhp claim is a little out there. Especially with the stock fuel injection system. My .o2, CJ

I'm not saying I'm making 200 yet guys. thats my goal. I know its possible. I just gotta get it tuned right. I think the key will be the tuning. As Jordan says, its not impossible, just most will not try it. I'm a few weeks out. I only get to work on my engine one day a week for a few hours so progress has been slow. Just working a lot of over time lately. And the 200 rwhp will be on the stock fuel injection system.

The numbers I'm running in my head are conservative. There are a few other upgrades, but I'm 75% sure I can hit 200 if not get at least 190. I'm also trying to keep fuel economy. I'm trying to create an engine that gets close to 30 mpg on the highway. Again, its not impossible, but its probable. Where there is a will there is a way. I've been studying this engine like crazy lately and I think I've got a few things figured out. I don't wanna say what they are yet because I don't want to cause false roomers, but if they are confirmed true then I'll more than gladly share them.

Anyways, just gauging if I should sell this other S4 engine or build it for someone! I know there are a lot of rotorheads out there that wouldn't mind more power and I wouldn't mind rebuilding another engine after this one is done.

I've tried to reach the 200rwhp goal in a n/a 90. Without ditching the stock ecu, and air flow meter, its not going to happen. I maxed out my stock 90 air flow meter at 167rwhp on a mustang dyno. The car had a Pineapple street port, dual 2" exhaust all the way out. HI-6, Ported intake manifolds, Pineapple 6 port sleeves, s afc, etc. I also paid big $$ to have it dyno tuned with Ralph at GZ. We squeezed every last HP out of the engine, we possibly could. Interestingly, the car made peak power right at 14.25 A/F ratio. The car ran high 14s around 95mph at Woodburn.

If you do a seach with my name in the 2nd gen forums, you'll see exactly what I did, and how fast the car ran. CJ
