Hey All this is indeed from another Brony from the internets!
My Car is a 1986 FC S4 NA. It has 108,000 on the motor and has never been cracked open before.
The motor according to my buddy had an oil thermostat failure that starved the front rotor of oil and created a Crap-ton of carbon build up. The oil pump was pretty thrashed on too.
I ordered an Aitkin’s rebuild kit and Some Oil upgrades from MazdaTrix. This includes: T2 S4 oil pump, hardened Stat gears and other goodies.
Here are some pics of my thread though somewhat, out of order. I will do my best to reassemble the pics and data as I can get around, to it.

While I'm not so into the ponies where they are, nice build. Except... you're farther along than I am!!! :P

did you do any porting to increase the internal ponies? Plans, mods???

I have a million plans... slowly putting them into action.
Like the engine paint, what kind did u use?

Hey thanks for dropping a line!
Yeah we are doing a 74 spec port on the primaries and emssions delete, intake and exhuast mods, and an upgraded T2 oil pump and a few other goodies!
I used Duplicolor engine primer then used a engine paint blue color. Next for the front cover and housings is an anodized purple should be pretty!
