I apologize.
I haven't had the best luck in my ownership...but on the brightside I have had some wicked fun good times. That car puts a smile on my face every dam time I drive it. You cannot put a value on something like that, ever.
update, I'm meeting this friday with the auto claims adjuster with my reciepts.
say some prayers or fast for three days or something for me.

Sorry about your car. I'm sure someone in this forum paints cars, or could fix that for you. Maybe ask Codeblue if he could fix it for you for fairly cheap.
I know how it is to try to get a car insured that you have a lot of money invested.
I tried for a long time to find an insurance company that would insure "Blue" for the amount of money I have spent, including all the love put into it. It being a 1979, I found no company to insure her for "full coverage" except Safeco. With the full coverage I also have her insured for the amount of all my reciepts spent on the car.
With your car please get it insured for what its worth. I didnt have to get it apraised or anything through them. All they did was take a couple pics of my car. They did say save all my reciepts to show the value.
