3rd Modified Exhast Ticket.

Just got my 3rd modified exhaust ticket not too excited about it. Cop pulls out behind me at a red light and gets me once the light turns green. This is so stupid. There could be drunk drivers on the road but instead the cops choose to harrass me. He said if there was a poster that would define modified exhaust my car would be on it. Well i'm in the process of finally putting the stock one on. Anybody have more than three. I asked the tellers at the court house about what would happen if i got a 4th one and they said they could prosecute me. Anybody on here have more than three? if so what happened to you? i live in the tri cities by the way.

Yeah, it just can't be louder than stock. Retarded law. Glad I don't have to worry about it.

Utah's no fun, either. You have to pass smog all the way back to '68 and they do yearly safety inspections.

No it doesn't, choose the right one and there is no power loss whatsoever.

I agree with an electronic cut out dump, if you really want flow you can go whatever inch back to some quiet muffler, not fart cans. Then you can ride around loud untill a cop is near and close the cutout. I have a 3.5 inch and never got tickets, changed to dual 2.5s with turbo mufflers becase a flame caught the bumper on fire but it was still quiet. Rotaries are loud by nature when you let them breath.

You want to move to socal to avoid restrictive car modding laws? Google "CARB".
