3rd Annual RPNW Oregon Coast Rally

Scheduled for the weekend of Sept 12/13. Just wondering if anyone from the Seattle area is interested in going? I've done it twice and it was phenomenal both times. I'm planning to take Friday the 11th off and do Mt. Rainier on the way down. The roads in Oregon are so much better than anything I've found up here.

Anyone remember the hotel's name? I still have to get a place to stay ^_^'

Also.. We should write down the starting time and place.. [Fry's again? "9AM" again?] I would've taken notes but my girlfriend was playing a game on the iPhone, lol..

I believe that is correct. You can always drive a bit south and crash at the beachhouse if needed.

We'll meet in the Fry's parking lot in Wilsonville at 9:00 on Saturday morning and leave by 9:30. That night we'll stay at the same place as last year, the Crown Pacific Plaza Inn in Lincoln City. They agreed to give us the same rate as last year, $57 + tax. If you're going and want to stay there, please call the motel and make your reservations asap (1-800-359-7559) . Tell them that you're with the RPNW group and if that doesn't work mention my name (then you're really in trouble).

I made my reservations a couple of weeks ago, no problem whatsoever.

Sounds like fun Audie. I missed the one last year. Will have to go for sure this year. Just marked it on my calender. Are we taking the same route? I still have the maps from the first one everything is highlighted. If you would like I could make, or send you copies.

The route last year was different than the year before. I think I still have the maps. I'm hoping now I can just be ready. My clutch is having problems and now my alternator. I have a new lightweight flywheel/clutch/pressure plate but the counterweight I bought may be toast. Whoever removed it did so with a gear puller (duh!) and may have damaged it. I just dropped it at the machine shop this morning to have it magna-fluxed. Then, I just found out my alternator is dying. Headlights or A/C on and everything is okay, but with both the voltage drops and the car starts running rough. If I turn on the stereo forget it...the voltage drops to like 12.3 and the car runs like crap. I just ordered a 200 amp alternator to feed the monster (stereo).
