Wrong tie Rods?

recently had to change tie rod ends so replaced all of them including idler arm and pitman arm. Now I cannot get enough adjustment to get to zero toe. I have discovered that for some reason the tie rod ends are too long. Has anyone run into this problem befor?

It might be helpful to post which car you own.

It is possible you received the wrong parts though. Do you have any part numbers?
