Won't start after radio installation. 89 second gen
Hi Everyone, would first like to say hello and thanks in advance for any help I receive. I could not find any other threads that could help me out so Im going to post one.
So to get this started, I am a new RX7 owner. first rotary and I love it. d any major issues. However yesterday I decided to install an aftermarket stereo because my car did not have a stereo. So I spliced all the wires from the car and stereo that I needed. Did not touch anything else. Only the small bundle for the stereo speakers and power etc. I got the stereo working fine. Came out a bit later to leave and car would not start. Can hear the ignition click but does not turn over at all. Headlights also seem to shut off when trying to turn the key. And if It helps, when I pushed the hazard lights button it made a weird noise. So I uninstalled the stereo. made sure everything was out it was prior. made sure there were no wires touching eachother or anything else. checked fuses. There was a blown 10 fuse so replaced it. Still nothing. Lights seemed to dim down more and more after trying a couple times. Changed the battery and headlights came back on. all system lights are on like normal then when attempting to start it headlights go out and car wont turn over. Just hear the click. Headlights also wont go back on after they go out that first time right away but idk if its anything I did they came back on a couple times.
My conclusion. Could I have messed something up seriously just from a stereo installation? If any wires happened to cause a problem. It got dark out so I had to stop troubleshooting. Hope for some feedback on the issue.

Not sure which fuse because it does not have the cover that shows what is what. And the battery was from my friends car. And it clicks when turning to start.

I got my car starting. I found some issues with the terminal to the battery. Guess it was just a coinsidence that it happened after I installed the stereo. But the terminal isnt seating properly and causing the issue because when I really adjust it then car starts fine. Going to fix it soon but thankfully it isnt anything too serious.
Thanks guys for the feedback
