OH Wiring Replacement

Im having a little misnomer ,because i was removing my E-Harness and found there is another wire coming from the harness. It runs beside the starter and is running beside the tranny? the wire has one connector then runs some more to 2 connectors at this point it is right beside the tranny i have it disconnected and had got a new harness and it doesn't have the wire running from the new harness ? I figure its essential but just wondering what it is for future reference

the harness from the passenger side(USDM) is the engine harness and connects to the injectors sensors, etc.
The Driver's side is a 2 piece affair.Chassis harness containing the essential coils, goes to front harness, etc ..and Also the battery/trans subharness.

Now if you can provide a pic as to what you are referring to it may help.Your Description is kind of vague and as you can see the car had LOTS of wires and many connectors.

NOTE: future reference: state your car.I've seen screen names like BOBRX7 and the guys name is Roy.
Just for ***** and giggles,my Info is for 2nd gen.

Wire colors are important here.
