Will not stay running.

Out of the blue my car started acting weird. It stalled on me and won't start, and if I do get it started it won't idle or run right. When I crank it, it takes a while to start and I have to play with the throttle to get it started and to keep it running. When I floor the gas pedal it takes forever to rev up an tries to stall. It spotters and back fires like it has bad plugs or wires. I changed the plugs, wires and coil packs but still the same thing.

Check the fuel pressure as it should be close to 30 psi. Your fuel filter might be clogged or fuel injectors too, and the exhaust could be clogged as well.

I changed both te leading an the trailing coils and I still have the same issue. When I do get it running it back fires quite a bit. The fuel pressure is good and so is the compression. It almost feels like an ignition issue. When I get it going it has no power and almost feels like the timing is off, but the distributor has not moved and I still tight.
