Widening out the wheels. Stud extensions???
So I don’t know if this is more of a tech question or a parts question but what the heck. I am interested in getting stud extensions so my wheels are hanging out wider. I plan on putting some nice aero and so on and so on. Has anyone or does anyone know of a good brand or place to buy extended studs or a more durable route of doing this. Don’t want anything cheap. And not asking to buy just getting knowledge about the matter.

Longer wheel studs by themselves don’t make your wheels stick out. They might be needed if you run spacers which do widen the track. But depending on the off-set of the wheels you get, spacers might not be needed. IF you do end up needing longer studs I’d recommend ARP. From your profile (hint: tell us what car you have next time) you’re talking a FC. Not sure on those but on the FD changing wheel studs on the rear will also cost you the price of wheel bearings.
You also need to think about clearances to the body and suspension with wider/taller tires.

Ebay sells some nice (its just metal after all) spacers get some 15mm bolt on, make sure the bore is bigger than our cars or it wont fit on the hub , other option is to get extended studs and put slip on spacers to the amount you need.

Anyway to sell your current wheels and buy some with the offset you want? I'm personally not a fan of using big spacers to achieve your offset as it puts more strain on your hub components.

If I ever use spacers I only use a 3mm or 5mm slap on spacer at the most. The bigger the spacer = more vibration in your steering components. Even if you buy hub centric bolt on spacers they still introduce alot of vibration. It's probably best that if you are at the point of considering bolt on spacers to just get a set of wheels with the offset you are looking to achieve. I have a bunch of bolt on and slap on spacers that I use just to test wheel fitments in the garage. While I can figure out the exact offset in my head without visually seeing it, sometimes visually seeing it is better.
