Where to get an oil pressure signal - 87 Rx-7 TII

I'm about ready to order my Prosport premium clear gauges in the next few days. Boost, Oil pressure, and possibly coolant temp.

My question is where can I get an oil pressure signal from on the 87 TII for my Prosport gauge? Much appreciated. Oh and if possible your opinions on if I should get an coolant temp gauge as well. Thanks guys.

From the stock oil pressure sender hole. It's 1/8" BSP so you'll need to go to the hydraulic store and get an adapter to 1/8" NPT, a T, then another adapter back to BSP so you can put the stock sender back as well so the dash gauge works.

The dash coolant temp gauge works quite well, so whether you want a coolant temp gauge or not depends on how you use the car.

You can also take the oil pressure from the banjo bolt for the oil cooler line in the rear plate. That requires drilling and tapping threads, though.

is the oil pressure gauge on a n/a s4 normally accurate or is it worth getting a prosport one?
