Where to get Hatchback Struts

Any ideas where to get new struts to hold up the hatchback glass for an 85 GSL?

www.blackdragonauto.com they are pricey.
best bet is to buy used,so put up a WTB on the 1st gen Parts For Sale section.(when you get enough posts,I think you need 10)

I am not sure how much the BlackDragonAuto ones cost but...a parts supply house like

http://www.reidsupply.com

may have something that will work... just a suggestion.

I just put a set of StrongArm #4709 struts on my 85 GSL-SE. About $17 ea from Amazon or elsewhere. They work very nicely and accommodate the rear wiper and defroster electrical parts. I lift the hatch about 6 inches and the lifters do the rest. Best $34 I ever spent on my 7

Here is a thread explaining how to deal with the electric wires on the passenger side, and here are more images (probably linked int hat thread).
