FL where do i go now????

wellllllll got the 13b pulled on my 88 rx7 se and pulled the engine apart and the previous owner (im guesing) over heated it. . well both rotors are chewed all to hell due to the apex seals leaving the rotors. the housing are extremely grooved all the way around and the 3 cast plates have grooved indentations of the rotor contacting them. well i have a junk motor so who do i trust. i dont want a junk yard motor and end up right where im at. so who is the best person to trust when it comes to short blocks. i was told ebay but can u really trust what u r getting. some known good sources would be apprecieated

Try your local regional subforum. There are probably engine builders in your area.

Yeah man Ebay runs off of a rating system. The people you buy from should be rated by others. Just check it out read up the people your thinking of buying from and ALWAYS go through paypal. Its alot safer than you think just check it out

Post a Wanted to Buy in the classified section of this forum. I'm sure there are plenty of owners who have engines to sell. You can't be sure you will get a healthy engine though when you buy used, no matter whether you buy on eBay or this forum.

Best bet might be to buy a Mazda reman engine, although the price may be more than what you are willing to pay. Call Ray at Malloy Mazda in Woodbridge, VA for the best price. He can probably arrange to have it shipped directly to you.
