Depends on what you consider to be a "good" sound. Some people like the Weed Whacker on-crack sound of the N1 style exhausts, some don't. Some perfer a much more mellow tone that is only a little above stock.

can a rotary even sound throaty lol?
i kept the pipes 2.5" with OEM style mufflers with a 3" outlet, and just replaced the cats with a solid pipe. it sounds a bit louder now not too raspy or anything though and interior sound is still very modest. i like it. im sure it flows a ton better now too.
fart cannons always, always sound like absolute ****

Agreed with the above, Racing Beat.

I have an '86 NA with Racing Beat true duals, header back. Instead of using the RB presilencer, I made a custom "centerpiece" to my exhaust to fit between my header and y-pipe. It's just dual straight pipe, but it sounds amazing all together.

That's my excuse for speeding. Just wanting to hear the symphony get louder and louder.
