What's does Type R trim mean?

Just figured out I have a 93' rhd with the Type R trim and I was wondering what the difference was over the base jdm model?

Like I mentioned in the other thread, its very similar to the USDM R1/R2 models. The Type R came with factory front and rear spoilers, suede front seats, dual oil coolers, stiffer suspension, front and rear strut tower braces. Where the base model or "Type S" had cloth seats, no front strut tower bar, single oil cooler, and the spoilers would/may have been an option. The early year Type R trim was fairly popular judging by the amount I've seen for sale over the past few years.
