Saw a few posts veerrryyy much like this a long time ago, can't Find them cause I suck. Quick flame free answer?



Looking just for somewhere to start really. Hoping if I upgrade one part I'll understand the next part that needs upgrading so on so fourth. Does it work that way? Can someone tell me the very first thing they would do to a nearly stock engine, with a very limited skillset? The upgrade actually doesn't have to be cheap, just not ridiculously expensive. Kinda would rather sink 500 into the engine rather a pretty deck, if that makes any sense.


When I bought the car the owner had done a few things, such as part of the exhaust being aftermarket and an electric fan, which I interpret as the car telling me it loves me and doesn't want me to be in the store for very long.
Don't you judge me.
