okay...so i have s5 tails that dont turn on when i turn on the lights, but they turn only when i brake. I checked the bulbs and fuses and they are good. So i change the light switch and still no good. Dont know whats wrong so i need some help please.

 

Find the wire in the back for the tail lights and trace it back to the front, when you find power the problem should not be that far.

Are any of the marker lights working in the back, if there is check the wiring connectors

 

does your dash lights come on?

my running lights do not work on the back just the brake if the dash light don't work, same fuse.

I know you said the fuse is good, just a little trouble shooting help.

 

if the old light switch was burnt or damaged, you will need to replace both the light switch and the light switch harness.

Replacing just one, will have the same problem all over again.

 

Oooh that reminds me I need to order another light switch relay form Icemark.
I got another FC a few months ago and don't wanna fry yet another light switch and harness.

just ordered another switch relay for my new FC from Icemark, wished I'd done it sooner oon my last FC

 

Problem fix....it was some wiring connection on the stereo...thanks!!!
