I have a 93 RX7 and this part attached was sitting in my trunk and im not sure what it is for and cant find a part number for it so i can order a new one since one side is broken. Any help will be a great help also if there is a place i can buy it or a file i can use to 3d print it since i have my own printer.

If it's not obvious to you already, the looped end of a cord attaches to it to lift a cargo cover as the hatch is lifted. If you happen to have a "U-PULL-IT style salvage yard in your area, find any 90's era MAZDA hatchback...or a 90's FORD PROBE (also made by MAZDA) and carefully remove any that are still intact. They tend to get brittle from age/heat/UV. I've managed to accumulate a few extra over the years doing this. IIRC, a pick set is handy. The yards in my area charge you $2 to get in, so if you really want to get your money's worth, things like the front cowl screw covers and hood prop retainer clips are the same too. Maybe a good time to grab some misc. bolts, nuts, screws as well.

No, I don't think so. The only wiring that would be anywhere in the area would go to the under-hatch light.
