Hello all another question for ya. I took my 85 rx7 out for a fun time down the local highway and I noticed when climbing up in gears there was this weird "Thunk/click" noise.. so i pulled off to the side of the road and as i down shifted i heard the same noise... any suggestions?

 

I'd suggest a broken transmission mount.

 

There goes my day... well.. aside from the obvious is there any easy way to check it?

 

Look up where the transmission mount is, you can find it in the Haynes manual or factory service manual. Your going to have to jack up the car and climb under it to check.
